Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh basil
  • 12 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 13 cup walnuts or pine nuts
  • 4 fresh garlic cloves
  • 1234 cups extra-virgin olive oil
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Place basil, Parmesan cheese, and nuts in a food processor.
  2. While the food processor is running and slowly add oil until desired texture is reached.
  3. Taste and adjust salt and pepper as needed.
