This is not your average vanilla frosting. This is whipped to perfection which creates a whipped cream-like texture your family will love.

Ingredients

1 ¹⁄₂ cups salted butter, room temperature
4 ¹⁄₂ cups powdered sugar , sifted
3-4 tablespoons heavy cream
2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Directions

Add the butter to the bowl of a stand mixer and beat on high for 5 minutes with the whisk attachment. The butter should appear very light and fluffy and almost white.
Add in the cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla and beat on high for 5 to 7 minutes.
